All this talk of PROVEN high mileage is making me want another GS :-).. I seen this 98 GS400 on CraigsList by my area with 131k on the odometer. Only asking for $4300. It looks in bone stock condition. Yellowish fading lights and all. Perfect backup, daily driver car. Choices choices choices!!

What color? $4300 is good value if car has good maintenance history.

If I were you, I'd consider buying that. Have it checked out by a trusted mechanic first though.

I was wrong guys. The car is priced at $3,400!!! Wow!! Even with a leak of ANY sort, it's still worth the price IMO. Here's the link so you guys can see it.. it's Champaign color/tan.

Hmm, seems too good to be true. I'm not a fan of that color, but that's just me. Have it checked out by a mechanic and if its mostly ok, I'd go for it.

Anyways, at the end of the day both are high quality engines :-)
The 2 extra V's will keep it humming for a little while longer...

Your good for another 100k... money well spent.

I got everybody beat - on a 2004 GS300, 45,100 miles !! She's babied and mainly my warm weather car.......can't wait to remove the blanket off her and take her out of my heated garage so I can sport her out again.
I drive a SUV the rest of the year bcuz New Jersey has brutal winters like right NOW !! Errrrrrrrr.......
