Default Installed Exact Motorsports front camber spacers, but got question now about height?

Installed the camber spacers, followed the instructions, everything torques down (first to 90ft lbs, then to 120ftlbs according to the instructions)

the issue now is, i guess i didnt notice it so much before, but when adjusting the coilovers, i had to crank the passenger side front quite a bit higher than the driver side front.

so the question is, is the GS pretty balanced in weight from side to side?

if not, what could be the issue? i saw no leaks, so not a blown shock.

Im running tein SS coilovers.

thanx for any help

dang...dont tell me you torqued to 120 ft/lbs? did you see the thread in the suspension section about the bolt that snapped due to 120 ft/lbs torque?

as for coilover height....i do notice that tein coilovers do not give same heights for same level of coilover drops....this happened on my CS v1 before one of them blew out.

i followed the instructions that were provided by exact motorsports.

torque them to 70 ft lbs, then torque them to 120 ft lbs.

just read the thread in the suspension forum about the snapped bolts.

i did find it a little weird that they asked to torque to 120ft lbs. thats usually a number set for head studs.

i think ill back them off tommorow and retorque them to 105 or so. i rarely seen any bolt need to be torqued so high.

The GS comes a lil lop-sided straight from the factory to compensate for the driver. It's normal.

Ok, thanx guys, was just a little concerned. cuz the front passenger side was off by 1/4 inch with both front coilovers at the same height...

Ill have pics and spec numbers to work with once i get the car back from alignment.

i spent yesterday installing the camber spacer blocks, and quickly adjusting the height to make up for the 1inch extra drop. im gonna spend today fine tuning the height.

i know that from ground to fender, i need a minimum 25 3/4" to be able to clear the driveway to my place (stupid condos). At this height, i just scrape the front lip when i rush out. So im hoping to bring the height to 26" fronts (fender to ground) and 26 1/2" rears (fender to ground). Wish i can go as low as some of the guys on this board, but getting into the parkade is more important for me.

For now, she sits with a little gangsta lean, or a permanent invisible fat chick in the passenger seat.

this was a shot from a few months back.

Do you know what grade bolts they sent you? If so you can calculate the torque needed for them, also if you over torqued the bolts too far already then you may have already taken them past the point of elasticity and you will need to replace them.
