FWIW Acura Corporate is up in arms b/c they went through pains to make the damn beak something that stands out and the first thing dealers and people do is paint the damn thing. Acura DOES NOT want the grills painted. Acura dealers got a MEMO saying "stop painting the grills". This is the "Acura grill/beak" that is supposed to distinguish the brand. If you have to instantly paint your grill, you have an ugly front end. Period. We don't have to paint our GS front ends b/c its ugly. Its appropriate for a luxury car. People don't paint stock Benz/BMW/Audi grills nor dealers ASAP. People change the grill b/c they want something different, not b/c its ugly. Painting it is admitting the gotdamn thing is ugly as sin. It also looks more like a Camry painted. Its exactly what Acura doesn't want.
