Default My Dyno Run

Here is my run on the dyno, car was completely stock except for a drop in K&N filter and 19" G35 Wheels. Car was using stock plugs with 70K miles and dynoed in 3rd gear.

First run

228HP
238TQ

Second Run
250HP
276TQ

Joe yep the video is old but I never put it up so here it is.
The car is in the shop right now. Official unveiling will be the cookout at Ross Dock this weekend. Stay tuned.

NICE! So it looks like K&N was on point when they note that there drop-in filters could gain as much as 8% hp. I figured your car bone stock would have been around the 242whp mark. With the addition of the K&N drop-in you made 8whp! Great job...maybe it IS beneficial to leave the stock air box in there and use a drop-in type filter as opposed to an air intake. Great job Spyder!

Has anyone ever done back to back comparison testing (either on a dyno or on the street) to see which one gives better REAL world results?

Oh, why was your fist dyno run so low?

If I remember correctly I think that he might have dynoed in the wrong gear, maybe in 4th. But he made 3 runs and the second two were within a 5 hp and tq of each other.

....yeah...i love my k&n filter. butt dyno seemed to have been accurate for once
