Default GS430 Tom's/blitz info.

First, Supercharger info for the 3UZ-FE. Blitz and Tom's S/C kit for the Soarer (so should work on GS430). Blitz one makes about 350ps with 0.5 bar boost. DUAL SUPERCHARGER UNIT design.

Tom's S/C kit, single unit supercharger with intercooler design. Intercooler is routed between the supercharger and intake manifold. currently 350~360ps, final goal is 400ps at the end of development.

it's very close to hp. Like 278ps = 280hp.

Aww c'mon Dexter... the number of ps's equates to how loud in decibels your blowoff valve is... ok, maybe not

Default Dumb question

I know that TRD/L-Tuned is a subsidiary of Toyota/Lexus, but how does Tom's figure in? Aren't they directly related to Toyota somehow? If so, what are the expectations on the warranty status of a Tom's supercharger?

I know that we all dream of a supercharger that wouldn't affect our warranties...is this possibly it?!

Hey Globe, even though the application is for the 430 engine, it does not necessarily mean that it will fit under the GS hood. Do you know anything about how it sits on the SC430?

One of the big reasons why TRD did not release the SC that it has for the Tundra for the GS400 is the fact that it would not clear the stock hood. They did not want to have to deal with fabricating a new hood just to clear the SC...This no TRD SC application for the GS400.

I was kind of disappointed when I saw the news that the supercharger would only produce 50~60 more ps, consider their price tags.

I find it interesting that "T-tuned" doesn't include Altezza in their line-up.

that's true. How's the clearance inside the hood of the SC compared to the GS? If they're about the same then maybe it'll work. but from the pics, the SC does sit right on top of the center of the engine. My guess is at least 4~5 inches up.

400 hp in your GS at the crank will let you keep up with the M5. M5 is always manual gear box. I hope there is at least 360 rwhp.
