Say what you want about the SL's being played out...knock-offs...whatever. They are still one of my all time favorite classic wheels !!!! Never goes out of style.....

Thank you kind sir. Appreciate you dropping in and leaving a comment.

Thanks Kyle. The TTE Lip molded in sans the sidemarkers really give it a custom bumper look, I think. Really happy with how it turned out, and that it doesn't replicate all the other lip kits.

Thanks Sam.. I will be talking with you soon!

I feel humbled with a comment like this, and more so, flattered. Thank you sir.

how is the ride with the lips that close to the fenders??? do they hit and have you tried drive with passengers in thE back??

Fellas- I'm not gonna give out the wheel specs, but hear me out on why. Frankly, I don't care what my offsets are, because there is so much more to getting this stance then offsets.

Things to take into consideration are: Camber, tire selection and sizing, fender modifications, settings on your coilovers... and this is ALL before determining appropriate spacers to run.

In other words, every setup is gonna be different then the next simply because there are too many variables involved.

On a final note concerning this matter, half the fun is building this car and taking pride in the discovery process. I have gotten to meet some great people who I now consider friends simply through trial and error of building it. Enjoy the process and the journey and create something that reflects you.

Ha, that is just the angle I believe, but I can tell you that the underside of those exhaust cans have their fair share of battle scars.

Ha, T with the aggressive wheels that you have on your car, it would take a lot too make these wheels look equally as good. Can't wait until you get to Dallas bro so you can see it for yourself!

so we're not getting any size/offsets?
Sorry man, I won't be giving that info out, but if you read my last response on the previous post it explains why.. offsets are only 1 piece of the pie, with each pie being completely different from the next.

Thanks for the props Chris. I went with the 30 series up front, but I'm already paying the price with a bent rim... ha, its cool though.. the things we do to look good rolling huh?

Jeff you know I couldn't have done any of this without you.. Who knew a stereo build would have turned into this? haha

Thanks for noticing the 98 tails and grill!! This car was actually the first Spectra Blue GS4 given to the owner of Park Place Lexus when the 2GS was released. My Dad bought it as a demo with only 5K on the ODO, and has had it ever since.

I took all my HS Prom and Homecoming dates in this car, and one day dreamed of owning it. Bought it off of my dad 1.5 years ago with 130K on it, and I just recently turned 170K! Thing runs like its brand new.

Long story short, the car has a lot of history and I keep the 98 tails and grille as a reminder of where all this car has been.

Thanks.. I cut the center of the liner out, and then took the remainder on either side and just screwed it into place with self-tapping screws. I did this to give the perception that they are still in there and to block out any debris from getting in.

Keep me in mind for the future. The next phase will be to go with a more aggressive setup with bodywork.
