you access it from the rear deck lid, basically slide the whole unit to one side and it should be able to be poped upward and out. then unplug the single plug there.

but this section is built up of 5 individual bulbs so may as well replace all while your there or do LED while your there

no, just pull it back a little then pull it up. it slides right out
