The WR ECU alone is $750 but you might get a bargain since you have already purchased the intake...The gains are posted in previous posts. Call WR for more details for the GS300.

The S-AFC is dangerous because the air and fuel curves are not hardwired meaning, someone can play around with it. If someone, accidentally pushes one of the buttons or you decide to increase the a/f ratio just to experiment, detonation can result in the engine. Detonation is bad and too much detonation can result in a severely damaged engine...

There are some on here who swear by it and that they have used it with no problems. I can't disagree with them, but I still feel that when you have something that easy to play around with, you are bound to make a mistake and it can be a costly one.

I used to own a 300ZXTT and installed an electronic boost controller - believe me, I was nervous about pumping up the boost and so I had a boost gauge just in case to make sure I did not creep up into a dangerous boost level. Now, I know the AFC will not be as dangerous as an electronic boost controller, but still, there is that element of risk.

Ultimately, you will have to take it to an authorized Apex'i dealer to install and tune it and there is no guarantee they can remove the hesitation... Just things to think about.
