Accessory Belt Tensioner Removal ??
I have a 2000 GS 300 and I need to replace the acessory belt tensioner. Replacing the pully is not a option...I'm going to have to replace the tensioner assembly....Did not realize that the threads were reversed....
Any help would be greatly appreciated....
Thanks

What are you asking? How to remove it?
To remove it very carefully remove the screws (5mm Allen) holding the upper timing belt covers on the front of the motor. Be extra careful you don't drop anything into the lower cover while doing this as it will be a pain to fish out.
Once the upper covers are off you should be able to access the three bolts holding the tensioner on (think they are either 12 or 14mm). From there just swap parts and reassemble.
