What's up fellas- sorrry to bring back the "OG" post about the 20" Venza swap on our 2GS models... but, I just wanted to say --> ISTUNDRA, Dayaaaamn man, that looks BAD ***!! On a Sport Design GS3, too...that's seriously sick. 1/2 narrower...Ehh, whatever. I LOVE the looks of that. If I wasn't such an aftermarket (WHEELS) freak, I'd probably try to grab a set of these for my GS.

My buddy wants to get a set of the 20" Venza wheels for his 1-gen RX... He has the 18" RX330 wheels on his '00 RX300...def helped to "update" the looks of this his older RX. I like the shape of the 1st-gen RX's better, I think. Love that green mirror tint, too!

ANYWAY...POST SOME MORE PICS IF YOU CAN! (unless there's another thread, if there is- MY APOLOGY, I'm on my Netbook..and it's going slow tonight for some reason...)

Yep, this is true. I had a set of 225/30's on my 1994 Grand Am GT (5-speed.."High Output Quad 4" <-- all rare, lol) But, anyway, I still have them and have hub centric rings for the Lexus, too....but I would put them on my 430. NO WAY... Not enough rubber...235/30's for the Venza wheels is PERFECT! Nice choice, Jimmy. SERIOUSLY LOOKS SIICCCKKK BRO!

My '01 GS430 OEM wheels have 245/45's on them, instead of the 235's...and I like them better. A little more sidewall, and almost an extra half inch of width. Overall diameter on my OEM 17 X 8's with the 245's on them is 25.7".
I just ordered a set of 20 (8.5 wide, all four....maybe doing staggered next season) But the size on them is 245/30's...ONLY WAY TO GO, imo. Overall diamter is 25.8". PERFECT.

And, helll yeah- iSOMNiAC def agree with you about the 245/35's.
You guys know that 245/35 was the FIRST and SMALLEST (and always has been one of the most common 20" tires sizes) and honestly, they're just a TAD too big to fit PROPERLY on the GS. Overall diamater is 26.2
(compared to 25.3, OEM)- almost 1 full inch taller. (which also will make your car sit almost 1/2" higher, too! F THAT...lol)

I just looked and realized that the diamater of the (STANDARD) 225/55/R16 size tire on the 2nd-gen GS is the same as the 245/45/17 size...25.7".

Anyway...these 245/30's should be just about perfect. I'm so pumped!
