**look**led blue gauge cluster.very blue
Everything in my interior lights are going to be led blue. I just finish the gauge cluster in led blue. I am waiting on my bulbs to finish everything else. My camera sucks so this is the best i can do for now. Tell me what you think. The first picture is actually how blue they are and the second one i changed the lighting on my camera so it turned out lighter.

It really wasn't hard. more then anything just being really careful when your doing it. this is the 1st one i have done. i purchased led blue lights and put them in.

I think what he means is the lighting appears to be pretty uneven. It may be your camera, so better pictures will help.
When you look at the pics you'll see some areas appear much brighter than others, and other areas are really dim (like down at 0 RPM on your tach or Empty on your fuel gauge). That's the hotspotting he's talking about. The color is cool for something different (think I prefer the light blue OEM some have, mine was green) but I couldn't live with the hotspots - they'd drive me nuts.
Props for taking it on regardless!

It must be my camera. I see what your saying in the pictures. I looked at it jus a few min. a go and everything looks even. I only paid like $100 for my camera so i can't expect but so much. Thanks thou. Im pretty happy with the results.

NCDUB where did you get the gauge and backlight LED's from. Also, I to, have done this recently to my 1992 SC400. I do have the fadeing situation, but it still looks great on my car. In fact the alternate fade could be a selling point. My gauge has 10mph bright, 20mph very bright, 30mph bright, 40mph very bright and so on alternately. Now this alternate brightness thing is very balanced and the brightness is evenly controled by the car's brightness controler. Please PM me so I do not miss your message because I hang out on the SC400 stuff. Great Job.

I don't have pictures when i was actually doing it.I should of probley took pictures, but Yes i took that old nasty bulb out and put the new leds in place of the old one. Reason i don't have any pictures is because when i was doing it i was thinking to myself boy if i mess this up.lol. It was a task but it can be done. Its just being careful more then anything.
