Gs400 diy valve cover gasket????
I just noticed an oil leak on my passenger side valve cover and pretty sure its the gasket. its been leaking slighty on to the manifold so I can smell it and I see oil spots in the parking lot ever so oftern about the size of a quarter in different spots. When the weather warms up,which should be thursday I will probaly try and tighten it to see if the bolts are lose first. My questions:that is there a DIY for replacing the gasket on a GS400 and if so how long is the actual process?

Its a fairly involved job but not a hard one to do. Once the engine cover is removed, its pretty self explanitory. Do be careful when removing the ignition coils as they tend to break if the car has any considerable mileage. If you have a fax number, I can fax you the TIS instructions for this job.....
