You might have to send it to California and ship it from there because i dont think you can ship by ocean from North East to Hawaii, but I could be wrong.

wouldn't it just be easier/cheaper to sell yours and buy the same car there when u get there? unless u have a special bond with that car or its REALLY modified.

u should be able to ship it FROM newhere it will just cost more i would think

I know that if you drove to the west coast, then you could ship via matson or horizon. I do know that there are car shipping companies that will "truck" or "train" the car to the shipping destinations. You could also ship it from Seattle or Oregon, just need to get it there.

I would drive the car or somehow get the car to the west coast, like how HI98GS said, then use Matson. I have used Matson to ship an NSX and SC400 to Hawaii with no problems. Matson was able to accommodate the low ground clearance of the NSX (Lowest part at stock height was 4.6") while some other shippers needed a 6" minimum clearance. Prices at that time where about $950, then $1100, but today with fuel prices its probably higher. Both times I shipped out of California.
