Thinking of retrofitting some projector lenses into my headlights. Just curious what lenses do ppl use? I heard a lot of ppl liking the honda s2k lenses.

I got access to a pair of RX330 lenses, and thinking of using those (as the housing on these are fairly large)

thought of the Q45 lenses but after reading reviews, the light output kinda sucks (though they look pretty pimp)

Any feed back would be cool.

I like the one on MrExcutive..using the Q45 retro..I'm saving some moola for that. His look sick....BTW the projector from S2k is nice too...need to do lots of research before getting it done..

best output would be Ls430 projectors, and i think 2nd is tsx projectors.

I think the word you're looking for is "projectors." IMO LS430 or Q45 are the best for the GS headlight because they are huge and fit great in the housing. Other projectors like S2000 and TSX are really small and you have a lot of negative space. It just looks weird.

ls430 will have the best output, smaller lenses you just have to make a backing plate to fill the void.

Thanx, ill see if i can get a set of LS430 projectors.

i did a search on clublexus, and on google. found some pics of IS300s with the RX330 projectors.

im not sure how big the projectors are on the RX330, but if i remember correctly, the headlight housing was fairly big, so thought it would be ideal...

I agree with chrispy on this, you need something that fills in the headlight. My favorite visually in the GS headlights are the LS460's. Output isn't quite as good as the LS430's but they look perfect in there. The Q45's are gorgeous too, but output isn't as good as either of those. I gotta get rid of the ones I've got sitting here since I decided not to retro but I still take them out and stare at them sometimes, they're so pretty with all those little lenses.

04-05 Ls430's have the best light output of anything on the market period hands down. Do some research on the hid lighting forums and you will find the same thing, they are also a great fit in the 2Gs housing. I have the Ls430 swap and it fits so well most people think they are factory.

I have 1 s2k projector, just waiting for another wrecked S2k to pop up for another cheap one.
