Don't quote me on this, but I think the stock 17" tire might rub in the rear using 30mm spacers.

I'm confused...you wanna space out 17' rim to see if it will clear w/ 45 series tires, but hoping that camber will kick in? Why?

I know for a fact you can run 15mm in the front and 25mm in the rear. Chrispy and many other members have done it.

Your main concern would be if you hit the inner lip in the rear. That should have been obvious by now. If you hit it, you will need to shave your fender. You probably wont find many pictures of stock 17's with a 30mm spacer. The member on the other thread said it fit no problem with his 16's. The difference between 25mm and 30mm is only 5mm.

I would make sure your suspension is stiff and wont rub or hit when you are driving over bumps in the road if you plan on using 30mm.

before:

after:

car is much lower now, running a 245/45 tire, so a 30mm should be ok.

I'm just playing, but for reals a 30mm spacer on a 17" oem will look 5mm further out than a 25mm Spacer on a 17" oem

not exactly what you asked for, but for comparison purposes - 30mm front / 35mm rear spacers, oem 17's, lowered to max on tein cs v2 before i converted suspension to air.. rear fenders shaved, tabs in front rolled up;

front 30mm

rear 35mm

you can see from the pics that even with this much of a spacer, the oem 17s still arent flush with the fenders.. there's a guy in the 2gs classifieds selling 13mm front 25mm rear spacers advertising this will give "flush" fitment when used with oem 17s, now obviously you can tell from my pics that thats not going to be the case, but i didnt feel like crapping in his f/s post.. good luck with whatever you decide to go with..
