That's just crazzy... it's gonna rub. Well, depends on driving style too and spring rate. I'm planning on buying 15mm for my 245/35/19 8.5 offset +33... previously had put 25mm on it and it shreaded my tires. (no fender mod...yet)

I understand the point of this thread....just bringing up the fact that if people (in general) buy the spacers...then at least (in general) when they buy some rims that don't fit as well as they like, they'll be able to space them out properly. Don't get me wrong...fitment is the way to go...but I know a lot of people tend to jump the gun on wheels without researching it.

Anyways...this thread proves it's point with upstate's and your posts.

I was running a 19x9.5 +20 and had no problems...235/35 on General UHP's which run kind of wide...no rubbing...stock height at the time though. IF I were lowered as much as I am now, I'd not be flush...the GS can handle a lot more than people think.

^ looks like the rear needs to be pushed out a bit. Lowered a bit. That's a pretty big wheel gap there.

I have been poking around, wondering about spacers and figured this would be a good place to chime in. I have the stock 17s but on 50 series tires and want to get my rims more flush with the fenders than they are now. The pics with 35mm rear and 30mm front look about perfect IMO, but I have a few questions even then:

1) I am lowered on DF210s...how will these spacers affect that, if at all? Camber issues?

2) What is the best brand/spot to buy spacers from?

3) Will I run into any rubbing issues with stocks 17 on 50 series tires? I really don't want to get into rolling or anything.

Thank you!

1) The spacers will not increase or decrease the camber that is caused from the lowering itself.

2) I recommend Kics or H&R. They are built much better than the ones you can get on eBay and such.

3) On a 50 series tire, it probably won't rub. But I am not sure about that. You might have to just try it to know.

One more question:

What is the best spacer combo for stock wheels to avoid rubbing and having to shave anything?

I am thinking 20mm front and 25mm rear just to be safe. Is that doable?

Vic are you on stock suspension. I eventually want to drop the car, but I will probably be purchasing some spacers first and was wondering what it would look like on a stock setup.

I think the best size spacers with a moderate drop, without any fender mods are: 25mm front and 30mm rear.
