Default Monday Morning Choices..?

Having decided to not go to work today already. I found this on my doorstep..

Thats two Gen3 GS gear ***** courtesy of fellow CL member and all around top guy thomastan!

Now I have another choice to make..shinny chrome or glossy wood.

Help me choose, I like the wood, but I also like the chrome. But the chrome is also on an IS250. I'm a GS guy?? Maybe the chrome and the chrome trim piece around the shifter??

Input Please!

I'd go with the wood. If you had the 01+ chrome bezel around the shifter maybe the chrome one would match, but I think the wood one matches the GS interior better since there is little chrome accents in the GS.

Yeah I was thinking about the whole RHD thing. I'm married, so if I use the chrome shifter i'm likely to scratch it pretty bad with my wedding ring. If I was in the U.S I could maintain a shinny finish for years to come!

So apart from the headlight washers, the km/h speedo, the truly awful electric aerial and the indicator repeater in the front guards, the RHD car has another interesting difference.

No it doesn't match exactly, but it doesn't really clash either. The match is better in person.

The chrome looks nice, I wouldn't mix mash woods. BTW hello from fellow QLD'er.

I have the wood one, and it makes the car feel and look a bit more sassy. It brings that "smack my ***" kind of look LOL

I did the EXACT same mod. I added the chrome shifter bezel and used the chrome ****. I'm looking to pull some sportiness out of my car, though. More interior mods in progress...

(For the chrome IS **** at least) the bottom is shorter than the stock GS ****, so I hacksawed about 1/2" off the top of the threaded rod it screws on to. I just liked the height a little tighter to the console.
