The only way to really work out which solenoid is faulty is to use a multimeter, test for resistance.
Then if your lucky, like I was you can play around with it and it may work again...

Yea I gotten that far. I have the solenoid out, and on the web for the corrrct way...and since you did it I feel comfortable with your advice. Can you please explain how to test the solenoid and plugs. I have the multimeter..thanks a million

Have to check continuity at the PCM with the solenoid plugged in. all I did to fix was un plug solenoid an Bend tabs in at the connector to make a stronger contact. Then reinstalled and Then I had continuity. Drove car and shifted normally!

I got code 0763, seems like an easy job, but I'm trying to figure out which solenoid is C. Are they labeled? In order from front to back, etc? Please help?!

are you serious dude, it DID answer your ?, the OP specifically said to several other people the answer from the exact same ? you asked and then i highlighted the points

but the answer is STILL the same being that there are 4 of the same solenoids, they use a blanket fault code so 1,2,3,4 all can show the same code and the code can not designate which one it is so the answer is.....

Yes, I'm serious. I found my answer As to which one is C (3). And that wasn't the correct answer. I removed the 3(C) one that I was told was 3(C) and replaced it and it works fine. So yes, there is a direct answer as to which one is specifically the 3(C) solenoid
