help!!!!! i don't know what happened, but I parked my car and now it's locked in PARK and the abs light and brake light is on!!!!

i have a 2003 gs with no mods!

please help because i'm blocking like 6 cars and i don't know what to do!

i tried shifting into neutral to push the car from off, key in, key turned once, etc

the car turns on and everything i just can't do anything to move the shifter!

Next to the "P" letter on the shifter, there's a small slot big enough for a flat head to go in there. Stick the Flat head in there, and move the shifter. Please, keep it to one post.

^^^^ sorry it was an accident...

alright, i got it to neutral to move it, but i don't wanna press down on it everytime i wanna get out of park..

UPDATE: i guess the ABS fuse is blown, so we're gonna replace that and see if it helps

are the taillights illuminated? check ur brakelight/neutral safety switch area also.

if the brake light is still on on the dash after you replace the fuse and you dont have the park brake on, check your brake fluid. if it's low, you need new pads, and if you see anything under the car you have a leak.

HOWEVER, if you DO NOT see a leak anywhere, DO NOT add brake fluid to the master cylinder. It is a warning sign that your brakes are low and need to be changed.

got it checked out at the dealership...turns out a ABS sensor went bad...$150 fix...all good now....weird how bad it messed up the car...

-speedometer didn't work
-a/c
-sunroof
-windows
-shifter locked
-brake light on
-abs light on


all cuz of that sensor, thanks for the help guys!!!
