Default Throttle Controller on GS430 2001+

I just got my TOMS throttle controller in for my 2004 SC430. Its fits 2006-2008 sc430s. I have a 2004 sc430. If the 2001+ GS430 uses the same throttle plug you guys can use it too. No more Throttle lag for you 430 guys Heres a pic of the plug for the pedal sensor. Is this the same as the gs430?

EDIT heres the link I found for way cheaper than Ltuned parts about $345 shipped Expresshttp://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOMs-linear-th...QQcmdZViewItem

Actually the Toms unit is a rebadge of Blitz unit, and I believe it only works for 2006+ GS. They make it for a bunch of different cars that use throttle by wire system. Apparently it modifies the throttle signal from your gas pedal to the ECU, so that the ECU think you pressed it harder than you did. But I doubt very much if it can get rid of the delay in the throttle that everyone experiences with throttle by wife systems.

Well of course there's going to be a delay if it's a throttle by wife system .

Toms Unit only lists it for the2006+sc430 but it works on my 2004 sc430. If the GS430 shares the same drive train and pedal sensors it shouldwork too. Just look at the plug I uploaded. For 500+ hp gs300s it wont make a difference lol but for laggy v8 this thing makes them accelerate like having3.76 gears. If anyone notices that initial lag from 1000 rpm to 3000 on these throttles, its gone. Just look at the graphs. It wont make your car faster but it will improve the response dramaticly. Ive been using Sp3 all the timenow I went to off andwas like WTF thisthingis a slug now

Ok, so it basically just floors it for you when you tap on the gas lightly. I don't think I'd want that. I have a hard enough time keeping the car from going sideways with the amount of power right now, don't need to make it any harder lol.

With drive by wire the throttle can be moved irrespective of the position of the driver's accelerator pedal, im guessing this just advances the signal in certain positions. I wonder if it takes into account speed of pedal travel.

Its not like you think just smashing down the gas . You would have to use this to actually get a feel for it. Imagine reseting your ecu but better. All the 430 guys know the lag im talking about. When you first hit the pedal no matter what rpm. Its kind of like tighting your throttle cable for you 98-2000 guys. Look at the blitz graph its just like that. Try one on your friends car when they get the Toms unit or the Blitz. If you know the lag im talking about than this is your cure. Its just like the Sprint Booster for the Beemers but adjustable. When I turned it off its like the car feel slugish. Anyone else have this yet who can comment?

Ok I bought one from Carson back in November 2008 (the Blitz version).

Installed it today, and it worked without a hitch on my 01 GS430. I'm loving this thing so far, it allows for a much more agressive way of driving without having to mash the pedal.
