98 GS3000 2JZ-GTE VVT-I swap
Got her running, and boy was she running strong! Making 12psi so far.
Mods:
3'' custom downpipe w/2.5'' restrictor ring drilled. (For back pressure, so JDM turbos don't over boost.)
Currently on open downpipe
True Twin Conversion
Walbro 255
Full FMIC
B&M Tranmission Cooler
Mishimoto radiator (& new fans )
Turbohoses.com Air Ram intake

And as far as cost, It's almost as much as buying a running 98 GS300...
Will most likely be going Single turbo around next Fall. Next mods are Greddy Boost Cut Controller & Speed Cut Controller and a manual boost controller. And some fresh paint!
BTW: Hearing both turbos spool in parallel form on a open downpipe is awesome! Yet freaking loud! (I mean LOUD)

does that motor mount right up to the na tranny? i mean im not wanting serious boost but later on if i do decide to go this route can i mount the motor up with the NA tranny and just get a few other items to make this work? or is better to just use the jdm tranny?
