Looking good Thomas, good touch on the compartments. I was wondering what materials do Ya use to fabricate every thing? Is it just all wood wrapped in carpet? Or is it some type of board? I'm looking to do my trunk with some type of light materials.. Any info would help, thanks guys!

My trunk was done in MDF, fiberglass, and some body filler, wrapped in durable carpet so that I can throw stuff back there.

Here's mine. Something I threw together. Never satisfied tho lol. I have new seamless tanks coming in so I'll change it up soon.

Very nice setups yakuza, Thomas, and geeznuts!

Birch plywood (7 or 11 layer iirc) is commonly used as a lighter alternative to MDF BBFRolex.

Seems pretty plain compared to a lot of others but here's an updated pic of mine.

Kyle, I like your setup. I graduated in 92 and started working at a stereo shop. That was the style of trunks we were doing back then. Very clean, very simple and sounds good. I like your exposed amp too. That was the big thing as well.

great job on yours too Glenn.

Thanks Thomas! I started on my own cars in the late 90's, maybe some of that's stuck with me. The amp ended up inverted partially because it's silver finish doesn't match the other one but I've always liked the exposed board on them. The old US runs hot anyway I don't know if I dare run it upside down, might try it at some point and keep a close eye on it.

Yo guys, just about finished my install, how do I mount my sub? I have L brackets but I don't want to drill into the fuel tank!
