Default My GS was nailed: with pics

Well the dreaded happened to me on Monday afternoon on my way home. I was in the median waiting to turn on to my street when all of a sudden this lady waiting to turn from the same street just plowed right in to me turning almost completely around. I saw it coming and could do nothing about it. Right now the damages are 3800 with just looking at the car and not taking off the wheel to see what type of damage is underneath The adjuster didnt have th key to open the back door to see that the sill that curves with the fender is also bent as well. The impact complete sheared half of the rotor off. Im praying that its not totalled.I took some pics with my crappy camera phone!!!

Damn that sux. I just had an accident a couple of weeks ago but my car is still drivable. My car didn't look like it had much damage other than the passenger fender, passenger headlight, hood and front bumper but they estimated it at $3,300. Good luck.

Thankfully there were no injuries and that there was no traffic coming at the time because if it was. Im not sure if i would be here telling you guys about it. I just hope that everything is repairable with the car. If that back wheel is scratched shouldnt they be replacing that wheel since it was not like that before the accident? Also the front bumper was damged a little from the tow truck bed shouldnt that be covered since it happened as a result of the accident?

With the age of our cars advancing and the value depreciating the likelihood of insurance companies totaling our vehicles is increasing quickly. I for one would rather have my car totaled and start on a fresh one rather then have it repaired if the damages were as sever as they appear in your photos. But if it is not too bad hopefully they can save it for you.

Good Luck and keep us posted.

Those pics make me wanna cry

I had a small scratch on one of my wheels in an accident, nothing major, but they refurbished and repainted the wheel, looks like new.

Fight for everything you can get man.
