Default seat heater

i was wondering if these 2nd generation GSs come with seat heaters, because i was looking at my owners manual and i see the diagram of the instrument panel and they have seat heater switches, but when i look at my car, i dont see these switches. i have the 2001 model, do they not come with seat heaters or something?

Mine has it. I think it was optional back then. I've seen a few GS without heated seats before. The switch should be located between the VSC OFF and PWR/SNOW button.

I've seen more GS's without seated heats than with. Mine doesn't have heated seats, which is ok because they wouldn't be of any use for me. Cooled seats is what I need.

They are optional on every GS and standard on GS430s I believe.

They warm up a bit, but they aren't too effective. You'll probably warm up more just by sitting there

One thing I hate is how it's only an on and off switch. My old car was variable where the lowest setting would be less warm than ours, but at full heat, it warmed up within 1 minute and it stayed warmer throughout the drive.

I would never worry with mine, as it never gets that cold around here to use them. And even during the cold times, I have auto start, to "pre-warm" my car before I get in and drive off.

I would prefer to buy a car that had leather with seat heaters rather then not. Only if the car was a great buy would I think otherwise. The heaters were an option put in the 3 option packages, not by themselves. At least for the 2002's
