LOL..I followed you measurement's and it came out funky.

What I plan to do:

make that adapter.

build a box without the bottom sealed. Attached that adapter and screw everything on. Then seal the bottom (using screws).

If things sound good...I wouldn't make the box for it (I have to make sure I set the amp to filter right so that'll make it sound okay without a box).

centre console is what i did,i removed the rear seats and entire centre console, and then used a socket extension piece to feed the wires under the carpet with them taped to it,can't tell they're there, and straight to the EQ in the dash

Yep...once you get one wire going... (or use a thin dummy wire)... then reuse that wire to get the others going. Tape it to the first wire that went through...repeat. That should cut wiring time.

Sorry...I find myself going off topic

Back to topic. The drawing you made...were these measurements from the final perfect fit? It would have been great if you used metric...inches are difficult to measure.

nice pictures and measurements. hows it holding up so far? it seems to me like the deck would collapse from the weight of the sub. do you notice any movement of the rear deck when the sub is bumping it?

I can tell you that a sub and box combo better not weigh 35 pounds. I had an oldschool Rockford Fosgate power HX2 10" which weighed that much. I could hear the deck flex while driving down the freeway. I've got a 12 pound kenwood 10" now.
