also, maybe its the angle... but the 2GS looks bigger than the 3GS... just thought that was interesting cuz the new GS looks like a boat.

It's the windows and the high belt line on the 3GS. The 2GS had larger windows and a lower beltline which gives the illusion of the 2GS being larger.
