I just purchased the May/June issue of Project Car Tuner Magazine and there is a 20 page spread on a project GS400 titled "The Velvet Hammer." This article includes step by step tips on installing coilovers, exhaust, aftermarket intake, etc.. The article is not available online, but it is a must buy for the Lexus GS enthusiast. Seriously an excellent spread with valuable step by step info on each mod.. There is even a dyno run with the bolt on K&N intake that yielded 11 additional horses to the wheels.

Wow 11hp just for the K&N? Was that just for the K&N or for all the performance mods they did. Sounds alot for just a intake, but anything is possible......Yea im definantly going to go pick that issue up today.

This combo below yielded the 11rwhp sorry..

After reading the 20 page spread, I believe this was a project car purchased & done up by the magazine. This magazine relatively new, and is only in its 6th edition. This project GS400 was purchased online for 7k stock with 151,000 miles on the clock. The mag dumped 10k into it so far, and is looking to add headers and tq. converter in the future.. Stay tuned
