Auto Leveling Projector Headlights in GS400 I need input!
Ok, so here is the deal... I have the eBay projector headlights with the built in halo CCFL lights. Something that I really miss, because it was kind of cool, was the auto leveling in my stock housing. What I just learned yesterday, is that the auto leveling motors kind of just push out and retract, to a spot on the bottom of the reflector of the stock housing, so they can aim the light up and down. The aftermarket housing does not even allow you to out the levelers in because it is just a solid piece of plastic.
My idea:
Take the best parts from both housings, by that i mean: Take the back of the stock housing, remove the original reflector set, and clear front. Take apart the aftermarket housing, and remove the clear (new) front that has no fogging or scratches, and the projector sets, and fit them into the stock housing. This would allow for the auto leveling motors to work there magic, and move the projectors up and down.
My dilemma, does anybody think that this will work, or has it been done before? Would anybody be interested in a DIY? I would love some feedback if anybody whatsoever has any input or any suggestions about fitting or anything else, because I really do not want to completely mess something up if it can be prevented.
Thank you all, and if this looks good, I will do it this weekend.

don't think it'll work as if you're putting back the halos' shroud in the new housing, and with the projector, the projector itself at the lens area would be held still by the halo shroud so it can't move. if you put the OEM chrome shroud in it, it'll work, but you'll then need another shroud, night as well go with real HID projector retrofit and take the halo and fit them in the OEM shroud, I know the size of the high beam halo fits quite well into the OEM high beam shroud.
