I hope the '08 rims fit on my '98.

They also came with new 245/40ZR18 Michelin Primacy HP (stock tires).

I figure might as well use these rims for summer and the stock 17's for winter.

I want to set them up backwards like the attached pic.

Make sure to post pics when you get them mounted.

I would like to see these as well. They look to similar though to make switch from my 07' GS430 wheels.

i think the 07 wheels are also really nice. when i first saw pics of the 08's i wasn't sure which i liked better...but after i saw them on a car at the lot they really grew on me. in Canada you can't get these wheels on the 350's so they'll be relatively rare up here.

also looking forward to trying the Michelin's. they retail at $355 usd a piece...but i highly doubt they are worth that.

Would Lexus rims ride better over any other rim?

Thanks for the heads up!

So you're saying the GS460 has gone from 5-114 to 5-120?

Where did this info come from? Are you sure?

I'm pretty sure the GS460's bolt-pattern is 5 x 114. If you go to the Lexus site and see what optional wheels they have for the GS460. What they have listed is the Tourmalines and G-Spyders, which I know for a fact share the 5 x 114 bolt-pattern. And I doubt Lexus woul have changed the bolt-patterns on those wheels just to accomodate one model. While I'm not 100% sure, I still believe they're 5 x 114. Hopefully someone can confirm this for us.

Hello,
I bought the 2007 G-Spyders and they fit on my 01 gs300.
Does that help?

I just put on my new '07 GS350 18's with Michelin Primacy HP's and they look like a well built tire. Super quite too... But only put 25 mi. on them so far..

i checked the wheels and they are 5 X 114.3 (phew!).

...can't wait to see if i will notice any difference at all running on 245/40/18 primacy hp's vs the 235/45/17 advan s4's i've got now...

Man, I now love the Primacy HP's. Sooo quite and smooth. I used to be on 235/45 17" Pirelli P-Zeros, which at the time were a great but the non hub-centric Mille Miglia wheels with centering rings shook the steering wheel like crazy. No more steering wheel shake.

I can tell the car's a tad slower but not enough to get on my nerves. But, you can feel the wheels are heavier and you'll be pushing the brake pedal down more to get the car to stop, so I'd be easy on it at first.

AUGuy...I'm stoked to hear you like the tires. There isn't much in the way of reviews out there so I was a little nervous. I'm hoping that the slightly wider rim/tire will stick a little better on corners...that way I won't have to turn off my VSC as often...hehe (I've only ever run all seasons previously...advans and the pilots)

ps - i definitely didn't want to go bigger than 18's...not enough tourque. for a while there i was even contemplating going to 15's or 16's...just to get a little more grunt
