Default OBD II Reader

hey guys i recently bought an OBD II reader and just wanted to know if anyone can help me out finding the OBD II connector on a 1999 GS400. thanks in advance guys!

underneath the dash, either on teh driver or passenger side, i think it has a cover that says diag. that's where you plug it in. looks like /___\ just search under the dash, you'll find it.

You have to unsnap the black cover also to get to the port.

drivers side, near the steering column, black cover on it. stick your head under the wheel and you'll see it easy.

ok guys i looked and looked and couldnt find the damn thing lol. can someone please snap a pic of it and tell me what i need to take off to find it. i will really appreciate it. thanks again guys

just follow the steering wheel underneath your dash.

it's got a clip on it.

its just to the left of the light underneath your dash.

you have to pull the clip cover off and it's right there. i just was under there today.

I thought it was under the hood near the ECU? I've seen a small box that says "Diag" in the engine bay... ?

yeah, that's the plug for air bag & abs readings.
