I was looking at the diogram on Sewell for tail lights and it looks to me that you can buy just the lens. the inner is $57 and the outer is $174. Am I right about this one? I thought the only way you could buy this would be buying the whole assembly. I havent taken my tails out to look at how there put together but I'd think they'd leak if I tryed to put just a new lens on there. Has anyone tryed this?

Its not the lens, because the housing would be different between the two

Not sure what you are talking about. The 2GS has quad tail lights. Each one is an individual light: 2 large outer ones and 2 smaller oval-ish inner ones. They are each self-contained, i.e. 4 individual assemblies. I think the pricing you see is for $174 for one outer and $57 for one inner.

yea, youre probably right. I didnt think it sounded right. I've never see it done like that before. Its just the way they word it threw me. It says (Lexus OEM Rear Combination Lamp Assy Rh $236.60) Then under that a lil bit it says (Lexus OEM Rear Combination Lamp Lens Rh $174). Maybe the assembly is harnesses and bolts and everything needed in that section.
