GS 300/400 Gas mileage?
I was just curious if anyone has tested what kind of gas mileage they've been getting with either their GS 3 or 4. I drive only in town, and drive pretty hard, and the last 2 fill-up I've been getting 14-15 MPG.
Anyone else?

I can't really complete this poll since I get two mpgs - one in city (16-17) and one on highway (24).
14-15 in a GS300? You must be in a lot of traffic (going very slowly) AND hoof it a lot when in between lights and traffic.

15-16, mostly urban/suburban. But I generally only got 16-17 in my previous SC300 5 spd, same setting, and I'd expect the manual to do a bit better than the slushbox in the GS3. Speeds are generally the same, but I don't have to cane the GS430 quite liike I did the SC for the same intermediate levels of performance.

I get about 17-18 MPG average since I've owned it. ~4000 miles.
Highest mileage ever was a high speed cruise ... LA to SF. 22 MPG. The whole weekend ... 3 tanks averaged over 20 MPG.
I've seen as low as 15-16's for a tank.

Ok, after 25 fillups and 5,317 miles later.....I get an average of 18.859 MPG.
I input the data into my palm at every fillup. So far the best I get is 19.198 MPG and worst is 14.824 MPG. I expect all freeway miles to be even better...assuming no congested traffic.
I voted under 19~20.

We made a pretty cool road trip this past summer from Atlanta to Squam Lake, NH. About 1300 miles...Anyhoo, we averaged 27.4 mpg up and back with a decent amount of luggage, our yellow lab and averaging 78.7 mph for the 18 hours of driving each way...I was thrilled!!!!! Combined city/hwy driving under normal conditions, we go 340 miles on a tank. GS400, sorry...forgot to mention that...

I dont know about u guys, but the Computer on the GS isn't really that accurate for me, It shows me what my average speed was, and even if i was to reset it, than drive 70mph on the freeway for half an hour, it'll say my average speed was 25mph or 30 mph or something very low, and it shows a cruising range of 350 miles sometimes when i fill up the gas, im not really sure if it gets that much on a full tank, anyone know about this or is it just my car?

20.4 mpg in city
Lowest I ever got was 12.8mpg (city). Normally, I get 15 to 17.5 mpg (city). See link.

Right after Supertyphoon Pongsona that pounded us in Dec 8th and caused major damages on our island including three of the Mobil tanks caught on fire. No sell of public gasoline was allowed for one week. Luckly I fill up my tank before the typhoon. Due the fuel sale restriction I still had to drive for work and was able to obtain 20.4 mpg (city) by using the SNOW mode setting and reduce A/C usage 50% of the time. Driving performance was a bit sluggish but very, very smooth. Possibly starting at 2nd gear rather than 1st.

GS430, 23mpg highway at 75 avg. 15mpg in town, having fun with the car. Could be better, but at 12,000 mi/yr I'm talking about $150 a year if I averaged 3mpg better. A cheap price for 325 lb-ft of torque, IMO.
