there is a Blue (RSP) or I am notsure what the lexus name of that color is. But I want to know how rare that color is. I know when it comes to Supra it is rare but, How hard is it to find that Blueish Purple Blue Lexus GS300???

Are there any production numbers anywhere ?

I am gaininginterest on the 2nd Gen and it is a toss between a Black/black or the RSP color.

honestly I think that you might be a little off on this. There is no RSP color such as on the supras or the sc available on the 2nd gen. The color which most closely matches would probably be mine Spectra Blue Mica. Rare or not they can be found you just have to look around. I saw a gs3 on ebay couple of day ago in this color.

if you are talking about SBM (spectra blue mica), it's on the rare side but not rare as in you can't find them. i had one (sold) and i see them here and there every now and then

was figuring out what color that was too. anyone have a pic? its like a really light blue with pearl. seen only 1 2nd gen GS so far in that color, i seen a couple of new IS's in that color though.

Actually, I think some guy over in the UK or something has a Royal Sapphire Pearl. I've seen him post up pix of his car before on here. Possible that they had different coloUr options over there? lol

i think i'm the only blueish purple blue gs here.....but it was a custom paint

I'm not sure that Supra RSP color would actually look very good on a GS. Its a very nice color for coupes but on longer cars its could look pretty weird. I had a buddy who decided to paint his GS that Lagoon M3 blue which looked real nice on the M3 which was small but once on his GS it looked very weird he than decided to repaint the car that 350z blue and again it looked great on the small sporty 350z but once it was laid down on the GS it again looked very weird so he decided to just sell the car.

If its SMB your talking about it does undr the mall and gas station lights if cleaned real well and good live paint sometimes have a purpleish look to it. They are rare on the road but can be found without looking very hard..

Are you talking about Breakwater Blue (8r6), on the new IS, or Blue Marlin Pearl?

compared to the other GS colors. Since this color was made from 1998 to 2000, trying to find a 2000 with black interior would be extremely difficult. Most of the Spectra Mica Blue came with beige or gray interior.

Blue on black is common? News to me!

When I bought my blue on grey 400 it took four months to find and
I bought it out of state. That was back in 2003. Blue on tan is probably
the most common combo with the Spectra Blue exterior, I have only seen
two blue on black and one was a complete interior swap.
