Default how to replace the bulb in the inner oval next to the grill?

Hoping to not have to drive to the dealer to replace a light bulb. but I can’t figure out how to replace a small light bulb in the inner oval of my 2000 GS 400 head lights cluster.

It’s the CENTER cluster of head lights (NOT the outer BIG headlights, but the inner ovals) and it’s the LOWER bulb within that inner oval, the one that turns on when the headlights are ON. For my generation, the day-time running lights are the UPPER bulb within the inner oval. I need to replace the LOWER bulb of the inner oval.

Any idea? I can't find my owner's manual either, but it should be just twist and pull right? I also need the trunk light bulb, that one is easy.

Thanks.

Stick your hand in there, feel for the plug, twist and turn. If you got big gorilla hands like me, good luck

my light is crooked, can you help in determining what to do? I changed the passenger side bulb no issues but ppl are flashing me its too high and where do i adjust it, the two issues are, 1) the auto adjust takes place but the is a noise in the pasger side and then it stays up. i looked and found that the whole lense is touching the exterior of the light. what is really moving? the bulb or the whole housing? how can one adjust that?

I feel the pain too. I have little hands and I still have trouble. I just replaced mine and people are asking me if I tried to commit suicide and advice to actually succeed from all the cuts on my hand. Never thought replacing a bulb would be such a disturbing practice.

I suggest to replace with an LED so you don't have to do it again for a long time.

My fat hands had to pay a tech to loosen up the bumper and the front head light in order to get it out.
