Talking Hmmmm, 395 WHP, I need help getting 5hp.....!!!

dyno'd the GS400 again today with the prototype JPI Headers and came up 5 hp short of 400whp @ 395whp. Will post up pics and video of the dyno shortly....

Very impressed with the JPI prototype headers..... All in all not bad for 8psi...

dyno #1

dyno #2

Damn... that's one hell of a number!!!!

As to what can get you the other 5 hp... well, short of laughing gas, I really cant' think of much. Maybe some higher octane gas... If coming up with 5 hp was that easy... we'd all be doing it.

So what's the final count for hp/tq increase with the headers?

I can't remember the before numbers.

Are you still running on the stock exhaust setup from the cat all the way back to the axle?

running cats and a mode parfume exhaust which is mainly cosmetic I'm thinking....

#'s before were 376whp and 330 tq.... final #'s are 394.something with 337 tq...but we have to compare the dyno sheets for the usable gains in the power band from the headers...not just the peak...doing that now as we type

Thomas please remember that we are running a Vortech s/c not Rotrex. I haven't actually test the Rotrex s/c but from all the datas that we see it does flow better and cooler than Vortech unit.

I'm going back to the dyno place this weeknd to pull out all the datas. Anyone up for a Rotrex s/c kit? I would love to post the dyno sheet and compare the tq numbers with thomas.

Just wait a month or two for the weather to cool down. Trust me, that's gonna net you a really nice increase in power

Slap on a Type R sticker and call it a day. It should add 5-6 whp.
