Got a 04 GS300 19k miles last week and I have noticed a clunking/thumping noise up front underneath at around 20 - 25 mph. Over 40 mph and under 20 mph I hear nothing. Is this normal? If not, ideas on what the problem is?

Possibly the caster bushings. I have intermittent noises out of mine when pulling up/down driveways.

loose swaybar mounts or loose subframe bolts?







edit: I read too fast and thought you meant over bumps.

take it in for warranty, let dealer try to figure it out.

Lower balljoints or worn strut mounts, also the spring insulators are known to wear out also. I would start there.
