Ms.E could you give link to
the FC 280PT-22125 which looks like it is only one motor for $7.50.
There are no info about fc-280pt series on mabuchi homepage, so i've found probably full analogue FC 280PC-22125 on kysanelectronics.com.

Hello Kao, I read thrugh this forum and got the info from TRD911. But they do not sell the part on EBAY for the cheap prices anymore. I have to do more research. It is vry easy to change the door actuator. I actuallytried it yesterday with my dad, just sucks that I do not have the part, but when I do I will be able to get in and out in quickly.
Thanks for the web site.
Does anyone know how to open the actuator to get to the motor part? It was seales o I just put it back together. Now I have another problem, since my battery was unplugged for so long, everything has to be reset, now my remte key does not work to open/lock the doors (even though they did not open, but does ot make a noise) or the trunk which worked before I did this. Does anyone have ay idea if I need to reset the key remote???PLEASE HELP!

Has anyone found a motor for the actuator yet that is compatible with a 2001 Lexus GS300?
How do you open the case where the motor is found, I was scared to break something, and what do you use to seali back up?

I found the motors on ebay.

To break that thing open, use a dremel, and cut the plastic. Basically make it upen up like a can. Cut along the welded seam. I glued it back together with plastic melt and hot glue. You can basically use a soldering iron to melt the plastic and seal the case back up. I have repaired 3 of my motors so far. Oldest repaired motor is now as old as this post. No problems.

Does anyone know how to re-set the remote key for a 2001 Lexus GS300?
What about the memory seat? It is not working at all, does this need to be re-placed or is a fuse blown? Any info would help.

If you do a search you can find instructions on how to reprogram the remotes, it is like a 10 step procedure.

Anyone know if these Mabuchi motor will work, it is the same size and all, just the specs are a little lower than the 22125? If so, someone can buy them and the rest of us will buy some off you to recuperate your money...Please don't sell them back for like $20, that would be messed up...

The shaft seems to be on the opposite side compared to the original motor.

Update: I used GSteg's suggestion to replace the brushes by replacing the cap. My brushes were completely gone including a broken cable connector which I JBweld together. The FC-280PT-20150 motor (from Ebay, activesurplus-Ron) cap will work and has the correct connector also. You just need to take the little bushing out of the old cap and put it in the new cap so the spindle part won't wiggle. Thank you to TRD911, GSteg and everyone else on this forum.

Yupe, looks like it will fit... Same direction and measurements, just a little less power...

Actually the torque will be the same since your only replacing the cap with the new brushes. Remember the FC-280PT-20150 has the shaft on the wrong side. Any questions just ask.
