19's vs 20's
Was going to get some new shoes but the roads & weather are a major factor here. its either(20x8.5 + 40mm offset all around & 15mm spacer) or (19 x 8.5 with 245/40/19) fat setup? what would be the better install guys?

This is a post that DaveGS4 made that was very helpful. I think this should answer all your questions.

If you are going to buy new wheels you should probably stay away from spacers if possible. Alot of people don't like using spacers and when it comes time to sell the wheels it will be alot easier if they are the proper fitment from the start. Spacers are kind of a bandaid for poor fitment.
As far as size goes, either on is going to look good, personally I like 20's because the Gs has a pretty large body and big wheels fill it out well, thats my opinion. On the other hand, 19's will probably have a performance edge .
If you havent bought wheels yet you should look into a staggered fitment, thats the preferred setup (wheel width wider in the the rear) Check out the vendor area, D2Auto is having a sale on some Donz wheels, they are nice looking with a nice fat lip on the back, they are proper offset and are staggered and I think available in 19's or 20's
