Default Nightshots: Dirty car; clean and new (to me) 19" Racing Harts (10 pictures; 4.17MB)

I just got the 19x8.5 and 19x10 old-school 3-piece Racing Harts Type C-2 in today. The lips and centercaps needed some major reconditioning. The lips had some curb rash that I had to remove and the centercaps were all scratched up. Here is the aftermath of 3 hours of sanding and hand polishing. I forgot where I put my jewler's rouge and buffing wheels. I will post some other pictures after I find them.

Lip (before):

Centercap (before):

Set (after):

Rear wheel and 285/30/19 tire (after):

There was some residue left (in pictures) that I cleaned off after the shots.

I could not wait until tomorrow, so I installed the wheels at 1AM tonight. Here are some (6) pictures . The L-tuned springs are being shipped to my house right now. I will put them on after my midterms are over with. Please don't mind my dirty car. It was also sprinkling during the photoshoot.

Thanks for looking. Comments are welcomed.

Default Wheels!

The presentation would be much more appealing when it's cleaned up a bit! Would look even better with the drop!

A before and after shot would of helped us appreciate the effort you put into the wheels. It's all coming together, with a drop and detail those pics would be awesome.

Nice job on the wheels... A little elbow grease goes a long way.. Wait until you install those springs.. night and day difference... GL..

Here is the car last week, when it was clean (before pictures), after my PC detail w/Menzerna products and DIY fully polished Work wheels. They were sold last week to a local buyer. The drop will be coming soon (after midterms).

good job cleaning the wheels. they look almost new. i see that you found some springs. your car will look very nice once it's lowered a bit.
