Default Starter problems on a GS400, where to buy?

So I went outside this morning to start up my car and it wouldn't start. I assumed it was because the battery died from leaving a light on or something, although I know I didn't leave anything on. It has been happening a lot lately. I tried jump starting the car and I would get the same single click sound followed by the nav screen and dash lights turning off. After searching, I concluded it is probably my starter that went out.

My question now is, where can I get a good price on a starter? And are rebuilt OEM starters any good? I was just quoted $760 for replacing the starter with a rebuilt Denso one. This would include a warranty on the labor and starter as well. Seems kind of steep since I've seen members get it done for around $500. I was also quoted $520 for an aftermarket starter install without a warranty which seems risky. Anyone know any shops in SoCal? Any help would be appreciated.

I got mine done for $600 total. my shop ordered a brand new starter from Lexus. Test thing you can do is buy the starter yourself for about $200 and bring it to the shop and let them work on it. My labor was $300 and $300 from parts. Yes, Lexus of Westminster is known to overcharge for items. hehe. My shop has 1 year part and labor warranty. Since you're bringing in the part, they'll just warranty the labor, but lexus will warranty your starter.

$191+shipping after core charge. This is the best price I've seen on a new OEM starters.
