Default Is my lower front brace bent?

I just got my '02 GS430 a couple weeks ago. While looking under the car recently, I noticed the lower front brace was bent at four different points on the brace. Is this normal for a GS430? The one on my old GS300 was straight. The circles in the attached pic show 3 of the four bends. When you look under the car from the front, you can see that the brace hangs down. You can also see some holes at the bends in the brace. I'm taking to the dealership tomorrow to get this looked at. If it's supposed to be straight, I'm concerned that the car could have sustained previous damage and the brace was bent to make it fit.

i drive an 01 gs300 and mine's straight, but they're not exactly connected by bars...they look more like a part of the chassis frame.

Default I knew something was loose....

I knew something was loose. No wonder the outside of my front tires were wearing so quickly.... Look at the bends...

Default RE: I knew something was loose

I've already installed a new OEM brace, thanks to TommyGS3. The old one was on the car when I bought it in February. I have no idea how it happened. I'm amazed at how much tighter the front end feels now, even only with a new OEM brace and new Tanabe NF210's and KYB GR-2s, and an obvious alignment. The car was way out of alignment and the toe was out causing the fast outside tire wear. I believe a broken brace did make it much worse.
