My door moldings on both sides is peeling off a few inches each and I just ordered replacements from oemlexusparts.com for about $21 each side.

We'll see if they don't tell me they aren't available for some reason though they let you add to your cart and order so heres hoping.

Well I had received a email from Craig Waddell in the Parts Dept at the dealers that do the parts for oemlexusparts.com saying to call him.

Called him up and he said the lower door molding for the passenger side I think he said was discontinued in the dark green color but the other side was still available.

I told him to get me the other door molding in another color and I could just paint it at a later date and try to fix the other doors molding using other methods for now.

So if your looking for the dark green 98-00 possibly all the way to 05 (imperial jade mica I think) lower door molding for the passenger side from oemlexusparts.com its discontinued. Other colors are avaible though I have no data from him on the availability of both doors for all colors except that there is passenger side moldings in other colors.

Hope this helps someone.

Default es300, 2002 door trim

A local body shop quoted about 750 for the four doors for that lower rubber trim. I called Carson Toyota, they told me they had to order them thru Lexus, price about what my bodyshop quoted. Any ideas about getting them for less?
thanks
Richard

If I wanted to purchase these and repaint my whole car along with these, would the paint crack pretty easily seeing as how they are rubber? What can I do to make sure they don't crack/flake off? I have a DWP (051) GS400 and wanted to repaint to Ultra White (083).
