yeah man. mirror tint is also a big flag for cops to snag you. atleast in my area anywhere where anything under 70% tint is illegal. regardless id say go with 20% standard tint (SUNSHADE is one of the top notch brands my friend uses that tints for a living) anything higher than that is basically worthless as youll barely be able to see it. i have 20% on mine and even during the day you can see the shadows of people in the car when its real bright out but normally not even that...its classy and darker but not like 5% limo black which IMO is just too much...5% makes it a pain in the *** to see at night backing up too...

black tint on a silver car looks real nice because of the contrast. i went with 15%, anything darker makes backing up hard at night

I would never put 2 layers of tint. Do it right and strip the old one. I have LLumar
20% on mine and its dark enough for me.

Mine came with 5% all around and I just had it removed because the VA cops are pretty strict about dark tint. It definitely helped keep the car cooler on the hot days but it was a bit difficult to see out the back at night. It only cost $100 to have the tint removed and took about 35 minutes so I'd advise you have it peeled instead of a double layer.
