You wouldn't want to layer it, just get a single layer of it for that real clean look your looking for. That's what this audi has on it...



I had a completely different look because I the bottom layer I had was 5% black(charcoal) aka limo tint, I then added (2) layers of 40% huper optik drei(blueish/greenish silver tint) on top of it. But from the outside it didn't look blueish, just black because the 1st layer is what people see on the outside. I did it just for heat rejection purposes. It was nice getting a $1500 of tint for free :P

well I have a tendency to see things that I like and see pass the price so long as I'm benefiting from it , got my passenger class busted in and they ravished the whole inside looking for something to steal, if that didn't happen, tint wouldn't be an option, gonna get this because of the greenish bluish look because of the color of my car

Hey Guys,

I'm going to be putting a tint on my GS430, but I'm not sure what to go with. According to my state (Nevada) laws, I am allowed a 35% tint on my front windows. Also, with the hot summers of Nevada, I've heard that the nano tint helps keep out heat while the car is sitting.

I would like to go as dark as possible without having any confrontation with the police. A friend says that going with a nano tint makes it look lighter from the outside than a normal tint would.

I guess what I'm trying to get at is, is it safe to go with a 30% nano tint?

just got mine done with 35% ...thinking about doing a 50% tint to the windshield

Is that the nanotint? Cuz if so, it looks great... I wouldn't even bother going down to 30%

Nevada? I rolled around for years with 5% tint before stripping it and now I got no tint lol. On my Q45 I used 20% all around and 70% on my windshield.

I mean I would go darker, but I do a lot of my driving in Cali. And even though I have Nevada plates, if I have a tint darker than 70% on the front windows, I can get ticketed if the cops feel like it. So I don't wanna push it. haha

Here's my Q45. 20%. Looks darker in pics. I went to Mob customs on Decatur for this tint.

I'm in TX and we have tint laws here too, I think ours is 30% I can't remember... But I rolled around with 5% in my Acura forever. Never got bothered for it. My friend here has 5% on his S2000, has had it for probably 4-5 years... I hear Cali loves to pick on cars though. You'd think they'd have better **** to do.
