Should I tint this way or that way??
I really only want a very subtle increase in darkness...just to make the car look a little richer. I was thinking 50% on the sides and 35% on the back...or should I get all 50%...or should I get all 35%. I looked at the tint thread and didn't see my first option on my color combo..and that's what I'm really shooting for.

not sure what the tint law in NY is, but here in CA if you have 35% in the front, theres a chance you may get a ticket.
With that being said, i think 35% all around would probably look better than 50/35 if you dont mind the cops. And, if you have a dark colored interior, it makes your tint look darker.

I just want to be seen as a darker image from the ouside, not a shadow, I don't want to take away from the interior. But I want people to think..."are those windows tinted or not? kinda thing

if i were you in the same situation, i'd go with 35%. i don't think it would be worth the $ to do only 50%, and 35% is still not too dark but its noticeable. if you really want it to be one of those where someone would look and not be able to know if it was tinted or not, then i guess 50% would cut it. i'm just a fan of dark tint though.
