14.385@99.391mph, am I on par?
Finally got the GS to the dragway. I have never driven a car so consistent, 40 runs over 2 days all fell between 14.3 and 14.6sec, 90% of them were 14.45-14.55. Auto mode netted consistent 0.1-2sec slower vs using the buttons and taching it out a little more (shifting just before the limiter).
It's a 99 GS400 with SRT intake/ecu. 17" wheels 245 toyo's on the rear, 1/2 tank of gas, 75deg day (spare and all interior in place, just as I drive it to work each day) netted:
14.385 @ 99.391 , 60' was 2.181, 1/8 @ 9.311
The night before it was a little cooler, 65deg or so and I ran a best of 14.41 @ 101.3mph and with more gas.
The shocked look on people's faces as my so-called grandpa sedan did smoky burnouts was priceless.

Well I do agree my car is really consistant as well. For the tracks out there your time is about on par from what I have seen and heard. If you want to break into the 13's tho you might go back to the stock intake... I know the sound is not that good BUT you will trap a little faster time but a slower MPH. You would be maybe low 14's and MAYBE just maybe in the high 13's. Anyway I wish our track and weather was as good as yours is.

I am sure a month from now I will be trapping 102+, when the weather is 50deg at night and I throw the old factory 16's on there for a few burnouts and runs! I can definitely pick up some gains with less gas in the tank as well. I'd like to creep into the lower 14's before adding the 3.76 and TC.

Not bad. The weight of this car is clear as a 2.1 60' is pretty decent but only being able to net a 14.3. In my old neon I ran a 14.5@99 with 185/65/14 all-season tires and a 2.5 60'. No traction for me... if I had I should've been into the mid-high 13s.
Congrats on the times though... the fastest i've gotten the GS3 was a 15.9@86.

This would definitely help, power to weight ratio is crucial for 1/4 mile apps. Being from the aircooled VW world, this why a basic built 160HP motor can push a bug in the mid 12's every time. That's really not a lot of horses, but it's not a lot of car either
