Where to mount XLD slim phillips ballasts?
Hi,
Can someone tell me where you mount your xld slim ballasts? I just got mine from Steve at xenondepot. It's the 6000k kit. I bought my previous one from proxenon and they suck. Customer service did not help after one of their bulbs turned halogen after 8 months and they stopped selling the HID kits. (I guess I know why). Delivery from him was so fast. I got the new design of his phillips ballasts which are the slim line ones with a separate ignitor.
Where are yall mounting the phillips ballasts and ignitors in the 2nd Generations GS? I mounted my past ballasts with double sided tape against the intake and the other next to the headlight. I heard of some putting theirs behind the crash bar but I need a good location so I can remove if I upgrade quick and easy.
I'll be sure to take pics of the install and output.
