I came across an article in super street that a TRD supercharger is in the work for the IS. Hmm....I guess us GS3 owner maybe in luck also? Anyone got more detail about this?

AristoV300,

Your car looks good. I am curious where or how you came up with the estimated 350 crank hp? And just to confirm, you say 5.8888 psi? If that is so, great, but I am curious where those figures are from.

well the 350 came up as a est. because i was boosting 3 psi when my car dyno at 250 to the wheels. Now i have a smaller pully that gave me almost 6 psi.

5.8 came up because my blitz gauges reads .05

AristoV300:

Do you have a dyno sheet of when you Dynoed at 250 rwhp? I am curious to see the power curve.

"5.8 came up because my blitz gauges reads .05"

Do you mean that the blitz gauge read 0.50 of boost?..if so, thats about 7psi, not 5.888. =) Weither you have it reading in kg/cm2 or Kpa, 1.00 = ~14.4psi.

Thanks again for the info...

The TRD supercharger for the 2jzge would be a Roots Type, just like the ones for the Camry, 4runner, etc. Not too sure about the SRT / TRD colaboration...SRT uses thier centrifugal s/c design

Aristo,

You said that Area51 is looking to supercharge a GS400, is there a discount for the guinea pig?

Also, I think you need to get the Blitz Power Meter so that you can "dyno" the car and have a better idea of what you're running. I think it was in the lastest issue of Turbo/Super Street? and it showed to be pretty accurate.
