Im not really sure, but if I had to guess I would say almost 2" or mayby slightly more. I have ZERO gap, Did rub in the front, I had to modify my fenders.

Looks great, night or day. 
A few of them are a bit blurry- I'd recommend using a tripod for low-light shots like this.
Also, take a few steps closer to the car, or use the Zoom; from so far away, it's dfficult to appreciate the car!
