It really is a different world.. No rattles, shakes, plastic parts, etc... found in the GS like the mustang had.. But that 5.0 engine sure held together with no major problems..
In between the 540i and the GS, I had a '97 Cobra that I bought bone stock and modded heavily. I can't agree more with tmf2004 about the rattles and shakes. The GS was so much quieter and smoother, it was just a treat to drive.

why am i not surprised...man i LOVE the 95 acura legend (GS trim level) i was soooo close to picking up a red 98 with light tan interior and only 40k miles!! the 95 ac legend with those miles still went for TOP dollar it was basically one of THE luxury cars to get, around here anyways, even in 01 when i found it there was still high enough demand to keep the prices up there...then for some idiotic reason i ended up buying that si you see in the beginning of this thread...wasted money on all that for too many years, then finally moved up to the gs.. i honestly think if i had just bought that legend when i found it, i might still be driving it today with a lot more cash in my pocket.....
....PSSHHT who am i kidding i would have modded the hell out of that thing by now and still feel broke lol.

I didn't mod much - just a header and a real cold air intake - none of this short ram intake mumbo jumbo.
I even installed a playstation with an Alpine CVA 1000 in the dash. The ORIGINAL playstation - ohhhhhhh yeaaaaaaaaaaah...
Sold the car for 1,500. Put about 80k miles on it I think. Towards the end, it was costing me so much here and there - it was ridiculous. Yeah, it was 11 years old when I sold it but still... my GS is about 8 year old now and it's practically in new condition. Had all the door dings pulled, interior is clean, no rips/tears (knock on wood), the only issue is the popular broken piping on the driver's seat issue and it has 111k miles.
My car deserves a Lance Armstrong "Live Strong" arm band on the intake or something.
